i love cooking and this activity really gives me a short escape from the never ending review of working papers and financial statements.

during lunch break i cooked tuna and brocolli with oyster sauce which i will eat later for dinner.

excited to go home to the pad later to munch a very healthy dinner =) ill have it for dinner cause i dont have the appetite kaninang lunch. I just had 3 pcs of my ever favorite gardenia sugar loaded butter toast and kopi tiam style coffee.

As i doodle this, Jojo and Marv are currently boarded in an airplane bound to Singapore.

I cant join because of REPi and ATS =( the trip was really meant to be Jing, Jojo and Marvin in Thailand but the unfortunate thing happened in November!!!. THE THAI AIRPORT WAS SEIGED BY ANTI GOVERNMENT GROUP AND WAS SHUT DOWN FOR 6 DAYS! (Ill share my long horrible philippine immigration and Thailand experience sometime in the future).

Anyway highway, have tons of to dos today hope i get to finish the review and the materials for monday meeting.

last night i spent the evening with ER. we watched transporter 3 and went home via cab. i dont bring my car anymore because the newly hired family driver brings me to makati everymorning (i get to sleep on the way to the office. yey!) and just take a cab in the eve. hayyy sarap ng di nagddrive!

wanted to be a professionalmake up artist particularly for weddings. currently checking out study courses and hoping to sit in the classes after i leave the firm.

call it crazy but its something that will definitely be fun doing = D

to leave the firm is really scary, its like chartering to a very unfamiliar teritory but its worth taking the risks.

The firm has been our comfort zones despite the very uncomfortable pressures and work load it inflicts. its been my second home since 2004 and to leave it would be very hard (ngayon palang natatakot na ko magpaalam sa mga boss). kelangan na ren talaga magresign para sa 20__.

and i dont want to be forever haunted by that unknown and so i decide its time to go. YEBAH! hehehe!

bought marley and me book in national bookstore awhile ago. its not a planned purchased but the latest movie marketing made me curious. also i think this is just for light reading during the busy season.

also bought a new diary, i miss writing down the events and all the things that are going on in my mind that i can only tell to my soul. i remember jaidy back in 619 (o ayan jaid tama na ang room number ha!). She religiously writes on her starbucks planner/diary everyday, i hope i get to keep a daily journal of my life aswell starting this very day.

Today i am updating my blog dahil 2 months na pala since my last post. Up to now it gives me happiness na sa room 609 ng asian mansion 1 ay may prenship forever na nabuo. NAKS!

its the audit planning season again and everyone is preparing for another round of pressure filled 2009 Q1. plus working on to finish the ghost of the 2007 audit (in short and pag-archive at pag-gawa ng ML).

2 Major Events on Sunday!
* Pilgrimage for the birthday of Mama Mary in Tagaytay (remembered the pilgrimage i organized 2 years ago in tagaytay:
* our pilgrim church was the Our Lady of Petals
* peeps who joined were mau n her mommy, grace cinco, tata, len, jaid and tep)
* cheng was praying for her CIA then (her prayer was granted ofchores=)
* Jaid n Tep are still a couple then.
* the drive to tagaytay from batangas was shockingly scary as the road are very narrow and steep. "short cut daw yung daan na yon sabi ni tep"
* we had our late lunch sa tabi ng daan (where we rented a picnic table for P150) papuntang caleruega fronting the very spectacular view of taal volcano and enjoyed my very famous adobo.
* before heading back to manila we dropped by pink sisters.

I am sure that there are alot of beautiful memories again this Sunday!

lately i found myself disturbed and unfocused because of the several stuffs that are going on in my mind (the franchise of sisig express, audit planning season, extracuricular assignments, to leave or not to leave the country etc).

and these experiences has reminded me again that i can do all things through Christ and that I have a Father God who is always there to carry the burdens and lift me up from this distress.

im trying to make the most of my 2 week VL.

starting with the uncluttering of my room, organizing my photos, finishing the major project of Jing n Jojo, review n update of standards, organize re-unions (my friends love me hehehe whenever im the one who contacts peeps for reunion almost everyone shows up weeeehhhhhheeee, maybe because the chances of see me is very RARE hahahaha), update my blog specially on my travels and discovery eating, go to calapan mindoro to see where jojo do his duties, learn alot of recipes, spend time with carlo, mama and my cute pamangkins aize, gelo and gabby.

for 2 days i went to the office for client meetings. everybody was teasing me saying "OH akaLA ko VL ka?" hehehe need to go Otey for client relations plus my mail, TR, updates from SAs. haaayyyy so many things to do.

hope i get to finish everything i planned for this VL. CARPE DIEM!

recently realized that i have to make a balance between saving and spending.

alot of peeps are teasing me that its for the "grand date" hehehe matagal pa yon.

main reason is that i realized im letting opportunities pass me by to earn extra plus i was not very mindful of my spendings before.

today i have brought with me pieces of jewelry in the office for installment. thanks boss MFG! for the first person to patronize my attempt in pagiging alahera = )

me and jojo also have an upcoming project. Godwilling hope mahabol namin yng target namin na august 8, which is the 8th of J & J. Im excited abt this thing because it will open alot of opportunities for the two of us to grow and know each other better.

my little savings will be zeroed out afterall of these ventures but i guess it worth taking the risks.

nagbabaon na rin ako everyday because i really need to save money for the gasoline and parking, its the pay off from evading cheap but long excruciating line in the MRT (nagcacarpool na rin ako para khit papano makabawas sa parking expenses, haaayyyyy epekto to ng gintong presyo ng gasolina at gyera sa iraq!).

contradiction to my realization: bought ER a very expensive watch last weekend as a supah belated gift and advance Christmas gift (hehehe). (meron na namang klasik na hirit si baKenKen after seeing the watch: "tito Jojo you're so lucky you have a rich girlfriend c".) HAHAHA!!!

went to G4 to meet jojo and marvin. i was ahead of the two so i was able to go around and do some shopping.

in my shopping i found some really good stuffs at very LOWWWWWWWWWWWW price.

First stop was REGATTA. i was able to buy a cute green blouse for 195 and a very classy long sleeves at 295 which was i think originally tagged at around 1500.

Next stop was NAFNAF. bought 2 pairs of shoes at 50% off = ) yey!

and before heading to greenhills we passed through cris sports house. checked for cheap badminton rackets and.... YIPPPEEEE i found a set of wilson rackets for 995!!! good buy huh! this is it!!! im really into the game! 2 wednesdays ago i initiated badminton nights with officemates. (pantagal kahit papano ng stress at fats.)

i discovered two good food places one is House of Minis in G4 food choices and Le Ching in Greenhills.

if you're a steak lover like me dont miss the T Bone of House of Minis and if your taste pallet is looking for chinese a must try is Le Ching's spareribs rice toppings.

the very reason for coming to greenhills is to buy a laptop stroller bag. I have canvassed in a department store last week and was given a whopping 8,ooo for an elle bag. Yuh i know its branded pero duh! i dont wanna spend dat much for a laptop bag. in greenhills i was able to get a laptop bag for 2,300! imagine the price difference. imitation sya (in fareness maganda naman ang pagkakaimitate ng swiss army bag) pero who cares! mataas na gasolina ngayon at may gyera sa iraq!

before going home i dropped by fully booked and bought 3 books! ( one minute manager, 5 people youll meet in heaven and rich dad, poor dad). Im trying to get back to my fave hobby before which is reading. (unfortunately this is one thing i dont share with jojo cause he's NOT very fond of reading)

again i found myself frustrated with alot of stuff... seems i dont have anyone but me. i wanna leave the country the soooooooooooneeeeeeessssssssssssssssttttttttttt and start anew.

gahhhh i hate this kind of feeling. still no luck on T.

i didnt go to office in the morning, i have packed and readied all my stuff in the condo for move out. i want to go home soon and create my little sanctuary in my very own room. I miss being alone with my own space.

this weekend will go to cavite with the whole jumig clan, that's the last hirit for the summer.

just filed my leave from work and will have my free time from August 1-11, hmmm ayoko na gumastos but i think jojo will bring me davao n cotabato to meet her lola from the states and all her titos and titas.

found out that mama will be joining ciel and apec in their malaysia trip, want to go with them but have no money. im tied with monthly amortization on the land i bought in timberland. haaayyyyyyyyy (isipin mo na lang jing na meron na pupuntahan ang sweldo mo)

was kinda low yesterday... nadedepress-depressan ako. but i can say im okey now. before going to bed i realized dat i should not waste my energy dwelling on the uncertainties of my US transfer and let everything rest in the hands of G. I was comforted by the thought that He has something grand me down the line.

after finishing the japanese version of meteor garden i decided to join mina n jaid for a chill out in oodys. i really dont want to go pero natakot ako kay grumpiness nung pinandilatan ako ng malaman n di ako sasama.

before we left the pad, i decided to clean up the fridge full of leftovers dating back ewan. almost full yung ref then after the clean up tubig na lang ang natira. dami kong tinapon na food and kalat from the pad. feeling ko isa akong maruming babae after that, si jaidy naman sabi isa akong basurera.

this morning i transferred to 9th floor masama man sa loob ko =( i dont like my new area. Its so cramped, walang drawer at matangkad ata yung nag interior design dahil ang taas ng cabinet. OO maliit ako at di workable sken ang ganong klase ng area.

hmmmm last night went to the pad early, been wanting to go away alone para mag-isip isip. Was kinda frustrated last tuesday to find out that there's still no job for me in the US yet. Ayoko na ulet mag-isa pang busy season, lalo na ang mag-audit ng Abo.

I thought makakabalik na ko sa bahay namin but unfortunately walang magtake over ng unit. haaayyyyy. Need to be away alone. Lately been travelling alot with jojo and my family but those travels didn't gave me some time to think things through.

BEWARE OF SANGAT ISLAND'S ROTWEILLERS!!!!

My family was very frustrated with the resort because we were almost attacked by 2 giant rotweiller of the owner last Sunday and the dog/resort owner did not do anything to stop his dogs!!!

I'm the most frustrated because i was the one who arranged the trip and the itinerary. I pictured a good lunch buffet and chillax under the sun with my family. We decided not to stay because of the welcome attack of the dogs. We were approached by the resort receptionist and asked for us to stay, she also explained that it was the first time that the dog reacted that way. We told the receptionist that we will stay provided that they will keep the dogs at bay but the owner doesnt want that kind of arrangement.

We dont want to gamble our stay because we have kids with us who are smaller than the dogs. At ayaw namin na mafirst time!!!

Next time you go to Coron try Malcapuya or Banana Island instead there you'll never have the risk of BEING KILLED BY ROTWEILLERS!!!

February 8, surprised to received a dozen of cool water roses from my bestest friend shawie. I thought the roses came from Jojo cause its our 2nd monthsary.

We ate some cake with tita lolit then had tapsi at Lola Ely's. Jojo brought me back to prince plaza and parted around 2.30 am.

830 pm Jojo picked me up sa pad ulet with an eternal rose (one year daw bago mgdry out, and its true hanggang ngayon the rose looks fresh = D )

We had dinner at Gaudi in GB3, then stayed at the lobby of Makati Shangri La for dessert.

While in the Shang, Jojo surprised me with "message on a platito" after i came back from the wash room

Feb 25 - Jojo and I spent the afternoon at the clubhouse of ayala hillside (sarap talaga magluto ng ate ko!) with my sistahs, cuz and pretty aizel.

got my CT Scan results and and it was negative from any dreadful news! whew!!!

the cost of the CT scan was kinda heavy on the budget (thanks to my very generous mom for taking care of the expenses and not so thankful to the FIRM for not providing its employees na nagpapakamatay magwork with health card!)

Was actually advised by Ef (ER's EENT brod) since my ears are okey, its really up to me if i want to the inner ear be checked with CT scan. Decided to have a go on the CT scan because prudence dictates that its better to have it checked than be sorry later.

I thank G for the negative results =)

also thanks to my ER for accompanying me on my ear check up and my CT Scan.

January 26, 2008 Itinerary:

1:30 Meet at Sto Domingo

2:00 CT Scan of temporal lobe of Jing in Delos Santos

3:30 Late lunch at KFC Mendiola

4:00 San Beda Campus Jojo is a Bedan from grade school to high school. He toured me around the campus and shared some stories of his younger years, cute and funny stories like nung grade 1 sya di nya abot yung drinking fountain and he will ask another classmate na tapakan yung pang-release ng water while he struggles to reach the water fountain. He also brought me inside the San Beda Church, one of the beautiful i've seen in my life so far. Told Jojo it's like the churches i have seen in Rome (no wonder there are alot of couples who wants to be married in this beautiful church. Was told that only Bedans can be married there, unfortunately wedding ceremonies are no longer allowed. =(

4:30 Picked up the mouth guard of jojo in San Andres

5:00 Anticipated mass in UST

7:00 Visited the parents of Jojo (theres a bonus! Kyle, Eunice and Ate Lennie were also there for a visit)

7:30 Lola Ely's Tapsilog - (yummmy tapsi and chicksilog, no wonder it's so famous n Jojo's favorite eating place. Not to mention its so budget friendly = Delicious tapsi with tinola soup for only P36.00)

9:00 Starbucks for some brewed coffee and called marvin.

9:30 Watched PS Ilove You in SM San Lazaro

12:00 Parting Time... But OOOPPPPSSSSS....the alarm key of ZET got busted = ENGINE DISARMED = HAVE TO GO HOME TO PROJECT 8 to get another key. (Initial plan was for Jojo not to bring me home to Proj. 8 anymore so he can rest early for his travel back to Mindoro around 5:30 am. But bad fate has struck us! Oh well, it isnt bad afterall because the time of being together was extended. hehehe!=)

Coming home early was providential. Some tensions erupted thanks to G, was able to help bring down the temperature of a fairly heated discussion. Im comforted that they parted okey and already making fun of the early incidents. WHEW!!!

searched among the card displays, to see if I could find, a little something that would say just what was on my mind. However there was not a one, that captured it just right, for no one else can understand just what I'd like to write. I even find it difficult to try to write it down, for how do I portray to you, the love that I have known? I close my eyes and what I see, is someone I adore; a person who is beautiful, right down into their soul.

December 8, 2007 – Immaculate Partner

Day prior the pilgrimage, before I went to sleep I asked for a wake up call around 6 am since I have several schedules lined up (like going to my dentist and breakfast with Jophet my close friend who just arrived from Dubai) before we meet for the 12 noon mass and pilgrimage. I woke up at exactly 6 am but went to bed again confident that you would call some minutes after. Woke up again at around 7 and called you to say I’m already up. = ) Parang may mali, parang balistad = D

After the 12 noon mass we had lunch in Mc Do, Lacson Avenue, then proceeded to Dangwa to buy flowers for Mama Mary and to Lola who’s confined in Del Mundo.

Parked the car infront of our store in Banawe which is near Del Mundo Hospital. Introduced you to Tita Tess then proceeded to the hospital to see lola.

First Set of Interogation - in the Hospital:

I introduced you to my lola and tita fhina. As expected tita fhina was very candid in her conversations and said the following:

Tita fhina said: “alagaan mo pamangkin ko ha”
Jojo: “opo, aalagaan ko po” (Mr. Jumig better make sure that this promise is fulfilled kasi marami ang susumpa sa’yo. Hahaha! Sabi nga ni bespren Shawie, he better make himself worthy of you or else… = )

Tita fhina: ilang taon ka na?
Jojo: (Nagpause at pinag-isipan kung sasabihin ang totoo) 32 po. Later on you shared na natempt kang sabihin na “22 po”.

The visit to Lola was quick for two reasons: (1) its already 2:30 pm and we still have a long way to tagaytay (2) better snatch him away from tita fhina baka kung saan pa mapunta ang usapan.

On the way to Tagaytay

We prayed the first 2 parts of the rosary for the pilgrimage (glorious and sorrowful mysteries)

There were moments in the car that we are just silent and enjoying the moments of being beside each other.

5:30 PM First Stop in Tagaytay - Pink Sisters

We wrote our petitions, gave the flowers to Mama Mary, made a visit to the Blessed Sacrament and took some pictures.

6:30 PM Lourdes Church
The original pilgrim church that we have in mind is chapel on a hill but since it’s already late we went to Lourdes Church instead.

We gave flowers to Mama Mary and prayed the joyful mysteries. Inside the Church was a fairly large image of St. Escriva, both went over the image. Prayed the prayer card and in my mind I was saying “Padre, si Jojo po boyfriend ko”.

8 PM - Kanin Club

The dinner was great we had salmon in miso soup, squid (his favorite =), fresh lumpia and he ordered cold green tea for me = )

One thing I really appreciate about ER is that he never fails to make me laugh = D

9:30 PM - House of Ate Jay

I met ate jay (ang pretty ni ate jay =) also his pamangkins Sid, ken and Alyssa. Allysa is just 5 weeks old and she is the girl version of Sid.

We just stayed for around 30 mins then headed back to Manila.

10:00 PM – Way Back to Manila

Prayed the last part of the rosary – luminous mysteries.

We don’t have any qualms about sharing the silly things we did in the past. Hindi rin tayo nakakatapos ng kanta kasi pareho tayong di magaling kumabisa ng lyrics, sa huli nag-iimbento na lang ng lyrics or naghuhum.

12:30 AM – Starbucks West Ave

You had frap (inside I was kinda worried if you have your med coz your lactose intolerant) and had my green tea latte. Stayed for a while to finish our drinks.

1:00 AM – Immaculate Partner

December 8, naformalize kung ano ba talaga tayo. We both know that December 3 was the day but again we are not sure? (ang labo noh???) Although I have told close friends about us, inside me im not really sure and you were having the same dilemma pala =)

You asked- so ano na tawag saten? immaculate partnership? (immaculate - syn. perfect, spotless, pure) and that really made me laugh.

Finally!!!! I have decided not to accept the Atlanta offer of the Firm. Thankful for the friends who have helped me pray for this intention and to Don Alvaro.

There are so many things that are running into my mind after resigning. Will I set up my own business and work in the family business? Work in a private firm? Teach in a university? Take masters?

Definitely I will enroll in culinary courses.

So thankful for the wisdom of my younger sister Rachel, she said in our conversation last night that going abroad is always around. Now it’s time for me to take care of Mama and Carlo. To take care of the things I have missed while I was fully taken by my work here in the Firm. Now I am more available to the needs of OD, to my friends, it’s also an opportunity to know more about ER and see if things will work out.

So excited!!!!! FINALLY I CAN SAY THIS IS MY LAST BUSY SEASON!

i bought 3 books!!!!!

I love to read! and glad that my padmate jaid also share the same interest.

I bought again living, loving and learning of leo buscaglia - i already have a copy of this book back in college, it was Feds who introduced the book to me. Unfortunately somebody borrowed it and never returned. =(

the other 2 books are marriage a path to sanctity and hope for the flowers by trina paulus.

The hope for the flower is my all time favorite book. it's written for children but widely read by adults. Same with living, loving and learning somebody borrowed it =(

We both love to travel and that's one of the things i really like about you.

I enjoyed every minute being with you.

What's with doctors ????? (asked an ENGR friend i used to date and said mas okey daw mga EnGr hehehe)- well, I don't know. Recall, recall, recall, was doctor one of the qualifications i have written to St. Joseph to pray for? Well as far i can remember, HE MUST BE TRAVEL ADDICT! and a Roman Catholic.

WE are on the same page when it comes to
1) jokes
2) di naten hilig ang computer games =D
3) we buy stuff as memorabilia of the bonus we received
4) travelling! and discovery eating
5) steaks!!!!! chinese and mediterranean food! (kebab!!!)
6) we like the book Hope for the flowers of Trina Paulus
7) praying the rosary
8) a lot more to learn about you.....

For six years i did not involve myself with anyone because i asked G to give it to me when i'm ready. And i think i am now because my concept of loving is not anymore about me but about giving myself to the people i love.

Praying that G will be the center of our relationship.

I know Our Lady is there to guide us every step of the way. Looking forward to our pilgrimage on December 8 in tagaytay.

we had our text sign off around 12.30 am. I continued working on the FS of my favorite client thinking that you already went to sleep.

2 am, i received a message from you saying you can't sleep and you are thinking of me=). I texted back "kaya naman pala di ako makapagconcentrate eh! tsk tsk!

eventhough i was deadtired from work i slept with a sweet smile on my face after talking with you until 2.30.
